Stomach Dropping Guerrilla Marketing by Swiss Skydive

Would you get into this elevator? When the advertising scene gets competitive, the sky is the limit. At least, that is the idea behind the Swiss Skydive Parachute School guerrilla marketing campaign.

Swiss Skydive guerrilla marketing elevator advertisement

This floor sticker advertisement was stuck to the floor of elevators. With the stomach-dropping sensation of modern elevators, the unsuspecting riders find themselves looking down what seems like hundreds of feet. The clever illusion of falling down toward a busy city-scape brought attention to the Swiss Skydive Parachute School brand. Although this attention might not have been completely welcome for the travelers who have a fear of heights, the company saw higher interest in the school and an increase in sales while the advertisement was in use.

Swiss Skydive used the physical sensations of rising and falling to create a dynamic engagement with their advertisement. The combination of the physical response to motion and the visual illusion of falling creates a particularly enticing marketing experience that you could really fall for.
