Peugeot to be Kidding Me!
The Peugeot luxury car company wanted to generate buzz before the release of the Peugeot 308. Instead of going for a traditional billboard ad or commercial, they decided to try out some guerrilla tactics.
The company put a massive 3D "308" the size of a car on the back of a semi-truck that would normally be carrying cars. Beside the 308 were signs saying "It's Coming" in order to attract attention. The trucks looped around the city ending at the Peugeot dealership. Word-of-mouth from the guerrilla marketing generated business for the successful car company.
